Altistart ATS480 — a connected digital soft starter for controlled starting of pumps, fans and compressors. Stocked locally in Singapore.
The Altistart ATS480 is Schneider Electric's latest-generation digital soft starter, controlling the start and stop of three-phase motors to reduce mechanical stress, water hammer and electrical inrush. It ramps voltage and current on start, then can bypass for efficient running.
Built-in motor protection, torque control and connectivity make it a strong choice where a full VSD is not required but direct-on-line starting is too harsh — common on booster pumps, HVAC fans and compressors across Singapore installations.
