Ordering & Quotations

How do I request a quotation for a VSD or soft starter?

The fastest route is to WhatsApp Jason with the motor rating (kW), supply voltage, phase and quantity — or send an RFQ / spec sheet to jason.lee@transdg.com. For a replacement, a photo of the existing nameplate is usually all we need.

We respond to quotation requests the same business day (Mon–Fri, 8.30am–5.30pm). Where a Himel or Schneider Electric model is in local stock, we'll confirm availability at the same time.

When is payment taken for my order?

An email acknowledging your order is not acceptance of it — your order is an offer to buy, and the contract is formed only when we deliver the goods. Payment is due in full via the option you select at checkout unless we've agreed credit terms in writing.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Yes — contact us as early as possible and we'll do our best. If stock isn't available and an item can't be substituted, we'll offer you the option to cancel and, where payment has been made, refund the amount paid. Changes to the delivery address, date or time after an order is submitted may incur a small administrative charge. Full terms are on our Terms & Conditions page.

Stock & Lead Times

Do you hold VSDs and soft starters in stock in Singapore?

Yes. We carry local stock of common Himel and Schneider Electric drives and soft starters across the most-used kW ratings so that panel builders and M&E contractors aren't held up waiting on overseas shipping. Stock moves quickly, so message us to confirm current availability for your exact model and rating before you commit a delivery date.

What is the typical lead time?

For in-stock items, orders placed online are fulfilled within 3 business days unless otherwise advised (business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Many local-stock items can be collected or delivered even faster — ask us when you enquire.

Sizing & Compatibility

Which VSD or soft starter suits my application?

Selection depends on the load type (pump, fan/ACMV, AHU, chilled water, general machinery), the motor rating and voltage, the starting torque required and the control features you need — PID, sleep/wake, multi-pump, BMS integration and so on. Tell us the application and we'll recommend the right series, whether that's a Himel Smart Pump, Basic, Expert or Solar VSD, or a soft starter.

Can you supply a drive compatible with my existing motor and panel?

Yes. Send us the motor nameplate (kW, voltage, phase, full-load current) and, if it's a replacement, the model of the drive you're removing. We'll confirm a like-for-like or an equivalent unit and flag any wiring, dimensional or control differences so there are no surprises at installation. This is core to our Replacement / Retrofit service.

Delivery & Installation

Do you deliver across Singapore?

Yes — we deliver island-wide to sites, workshops and stores, and self-collection can be arranged for urgent orders. Please notify us of any change to your delivery address, date or contact number as early as possible. Full detail is on our Delivery Information page.

Do you handle installation, testing and commissioning?

Yes — supply is only part of what we do. Our end-to-end scope covers installation, testing and commissioning of drives and soft starters, along with parameter set-up, functional testing and handover documentation. Let us know if you need site support and we'll scope it with your project team.

Warranty & Support

What warranty do the products carry?

Most products carry a manufacturer's warranty — typically 12 months against manufacturing defects unless otherwise stated — with coverage backed by the respective brand owner. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover improper installation, misuse, unauthorised modification or normal wear and tear. Full detail is on our Return & Refund Policy.

What should I do if I receive a damaged, defective or wrong product?

Please notify us within 7 days of delivery with your order number or invoice, the product details and clear photos or video of the issue. After verification we'll arrange a replacement (subject to stock), or provide store credit or an exchange for an item of equal or lesser value; where the replacement is of lesser value, the price difference is refunded. Do not return items without prior approval. See the Return & Refund Policy.

Are you a registered supplier for public sector projects?

Yes — Trans-Digi Global is a Singapore-registered company and a GeBIZ-registered supplier, and our drives are trusted on landmark local projects including the Sentosa Monorail Depot, Suntec City Mall, a Microsoft Data Centre, One Marina Office Tower, Punggol Regional Sports Centre and HDB projects. Can you provide datasheets, drawings and specification support for consultants?

Yes. For M&E consultants we provide technical datasheets and drawings, application and selection support, specification-wording assistance and project reference support. Head to our Consultant Resources and tell us what your specification needs.
