The WEG TPD500 is a digital DC drive (DC/DC converter) for the speed and torque control of DC motors. It offers precise regulation for applications still running on DC machines, and is a practical route to modernising ageing analogue DC control without replacing the motor.
With four-quadrant options, field control and digital diagnostics, the TPD500 supports rolling, winding and legacy process lines. For plants with installed DC assets, it extends equipment life while adding modern connectivity and protection.
